If sunlight is sparse, the onboard energy independent 315-amp-hour lithium-ion batteries are always charging by a dedicated second alternator while you’re behind the wheel. If you’re the type that prefers quiet camping in the heart of nature, you can opt for the doubled 630-amp-hour capability rather than the standard 2,800-watt gas generator.
