About Park City, Utah

Today, Park City is well-known as one of the world’s top skiing destinations. But long ago, the town was famous for silver mining. Founded in the 1860s, silver was mined in the area until the 1970s.

Two ski resorts currently call Park City home. This includes Park City Mountain and Deer Valley. While the area sees several thousand visitors every single year, only around 8,500 live here full-time. Whether you’re looking to shred down the slopes or simply relax with beautiful mountain views, Park City should be on your travel bucket list.
